Vince McMahon is rumored to crown the 1999 King of the Ring winner whomever he or she is. The winner of the Holly vs X-Pac match will go into the semi-finals to face the winner of the Road Dogg / Chyna match. Then the winner of that semi-final match will go into the finals to face either Mr. Ass, Ken Shamrock, Big Show, or Kane depending on who will win those 2 1st round matches (Mr. Ass vs. Shamrock and Big Show vs. Kane). Then the winners of both of those two 1st round matches will face each other in a semi-finals match. The winner of that semi-finals match then goes into the finals to face either Road Dogg, Chyna, Holly, or X-Pac as explained above.
